Christmas Blessings
The Justice, Ecology and Development Office (JEDO) thanks you for your continued support during the course of 2023, and looks forward to working more closely with you, and achieving so much more with your help in 2024.
2023 has brought challenges for many of us including from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, family separation, domestic or family violence, mental health challenges, the loss of loved ones, the devastating effects of climate related crises as well as war & armed conflict. Fervent prayers go out to all those caught up in the devastation of war, and for those who have lost their lives due to armed conflict. May PEACE and an end to suffering be found as we enter into what should be a season of peace and profound joy. May the Lord‘s hand be found by all who reach out to him.
As we pray for our family and friends, let us continue to keep in prayer All of our neighbours, especially people who are lonely or vulnerable at this time. May we also keep in prayer those who are homeless, those experiencing violence or abuse, our migrant brothers and sisters, those facing mental health challenges and people who are away from their loved ones this Christmas.
May we continue to strive for justice for All, and in so doing, may we be the voice for the voiceless. We pray that 2024 brings joy, hope and a peaceful future for all mankind.
