The Safeguarding Office reflects the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth’s abiding commitment to promoting the safety, welfare,
and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
The Safeguarding Office is informed by a fundamental belief that all children, young people and vulnerable adults have the
right to physical and psychological safety at all times and that the Church, as a Christian institution, should now and into the
future be at the forefront of efforts to make this a reality.
Creating a safe church is a dynamic process that involves active participation and responsibility by all.
