LISTEN, LEARN, LOVE: A new engagement with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples
The Perth Launch of the 2023-24 Social Justice Statement took place at the Newman Siena Centre in Doubleview on Thursday, 31st August 2023.
The event was launched by Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton. Speakers included Aunty Donella Brown (Aboriginal Catholic Ministry), Aunty Cheryl Lennox-Bradley (CEWA), Aunty/Sr Veronica Willaway and Lyn Odegaard (ACM Volunteer) . Dcn Paul Reid (Caritas) read the Caritas Australia First Australian Subsidiarity Statement.
The event was well attended and had representation from CEWA, CAPAC & Archdiocesan Agency staff as well as other social justice friends.
