What is International Day of the Boy?
International Day of the Boy is to focus and raise awareness on the importance of health and wellbeing of young boys.
This day is to encourage families to spend time with their son(s), grandsons and young boys who are seen as a son to enjoy partipating in doing things they love and create memories.
When is International Day of the Boy?
Tuesday, 16 May
Activities:
- Celebrate the boys in your centre by hosting a morning or afternoon tea.
- Run an activities suggested by the boys for all children to engage in.
- Asking parents/children to bring in photos of their son(s) of the children with their families participating in activities or holidays they enjoyed to share with their peers i.e. ride a bike, hiking, family day out or gathering etc
